What is Pyramid Solitaire?
The goal of the game is to clear the pyramid by matching cards so that a pair is worth 13 points in total.
You can only use cards that are not blocked by other cards.
Aces are worth one point, jacks 11, queens 12, and kings can be removed by themselves without a pair.
Press the cycle button to move cards from deck to discard. You can only cycle through the deck 3 times, so be careful.

Tips for Players
- When you hit a wall, look for a mechanic you are underusing. The game usually gives you the tools before the challenge that requires them.
- If the game has a tutorial, do it once properly. Skipping it and then struggling with basics wastes more time than the tutorial ever would.
- Audio cues exist for a reason. Play with sound on at least once to learn what the game communicates through audio versus visuals.
- Memorize the layout of the play area if the game reuses it. Spatial awareness is an advantage the game will not give you directly.
How Pyramid Solitaire Plays
The pacing in Pyramid Solitaire adjusts to player skill without making it obvious. Struggles in one section lead to slightly more forgiving conditions in the next, keeping frustration from becoming the dominant emotion.
The design philosophy behind Pyramid Solitaire seems to be 'depth without complexity.' The mechanics are few, but the situations they create are varied enough to sustain interest over many sessions.
