Kiosk
The process combines classic simulator mechanics: slicing ingredients, grilling, and pouring drinks.
What is Kiosk?
Kiosk – play in the unsettling atmosphere of the night shift at a rainy kiosk, where every order can become part of an ominous puzzle. The project combines elements of a cooking simulator and psychological horror, slowly dragging into a series of inexplicable events. You are the only employee of this place. The task is to serve hot meals, drinks, and snacks to customers while trying to figure out why your predecessor disappeared without a trace. In the silence of the night, the sounds of rain and the muffled voices of visitors create a strange, tense atmosphere.
Devices That Run Kiosk
Browser-based and download-free, Kiosk is accessible on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android, and iOS through Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari. It uses landscape (horizontal) orientation.
Helpful Tips
- Check behind you periodically. Some horror games spawn threats in areas you already cleared, specifically because you feel safe there.
- Play a few complete rounds before looking up guides. Your own observations about the game's systems are more useful than generic advice written for someone else.
- Conserve everything. Horror games almost always give you less than you need. Spending resources carelessly compounds over time.
- Test the edges of each mechanic. Move in directions the game does not suggest. Interact with things that look static. The boundaries tell you a lot about how the game works.
- Do not restart immediately after a mistake. Play through and see how the game handles recovery. Sometimes there is a comeback mechanic you would miss by quitting early.
Kiosk Gameplay
Inventory management adds to the horror in Kiosk. Choosing what to carry and what to leave behind means every encounter has consequences that extend beyond the immediate threat.
Kiosk understands that vulnerability is what makes horror work. You are underpowered by design, and the game keeps reminding you of that through encounters you can not easily overpower.
Kiosk Controls
Solve the mystery of the kiosk, explore what is happening and gradually get closer to the truth.
Serve your clients for as long as possible, improve your skills and move up the career ladder.
